Nene Valley Railway: The seven and a half mile long Nene Valley Railway is an operational heritage railway and is home to the highly popular cartoon, ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’. Steam locomotives operate regularly over this railway. ‘Railworld’ is a railway museum situated right beside the Peterborough Nene Valley railway station.
